This tutorial assumes you have a basic understanding of the photoshop interface. This is a beginner tutorial but I still find this to be one of the most useful tutorials when you are in a bind or need to censor something out in a hurry.

 

Step 1) Find a photograph

Find the photograph with the person you want to censor. Make sure the face is clear or it could turn out looking funky or your selection may be harder to make

 

 

Step 2) Marquee tool

Locate the circle marquee tool and draw a shape around the face of the person you are trying to censor

Step 3) Censoring

Now with the selection still active go to Filter > Pixelate > Mosaic. I normally choose something around 5-10 but that is totally your choice.
